 "I've been using wigs for 3 years now due to having Crohns disease and a lot of hair loss. However, August 23rd, I was diagnosed with breast cancer and have to get a double mastectomy. When I met with the oncologist, she had no idea my Naomi was a wig. She looked empathetic when she told me due to the chemo, I would lose all my hair. Fully expecting me to break down in sobs, I replied, "That's okay! This is a wig!" She was SHOCKED! She had to inspect much closer and finally believed me.
